Hello!
I'm currently the lone coordinator for a city-wide time bank in Washington, DC. I'm looking to bring on other coordinators, particularly at the neighborhood level. I'd really appreciate if others have advice here.
- What activities would a neighborhood coordinator carry out?
- What skills are needed?
- What is the hourly pay and hours per week?
- If not computer literate, what are alternative arrangements?
Of course these things can be tailored, but I'd really appreciate understanding how others have utilizes neighborhood coordinators.
Thank you!
also, check out Tony Budak's timebanking wiki at http://timebankswork.net/tiki/tiki-index.php
there's a lot of stuff shared there, and also at the TimeBanks USA Action Hub at http://actionhub.timebanks.org/
These sites are what you make them. Share your stuff there. Write it up how you like, copy and paste, cross-link. The more places people can find you the better.
I posted two and will try to add more. Others please join in!
the descriptions I've posted so far are in our Inclusive Community project page.
